Gabe Rubin is a composer and multimedia artist from New York, NY. He studied Music Theory and Piano Performance at Mannes College of Music Preparatory Division from 2001-2010, and graduated from Bard College with a BA in Film Production in 2014. 
His work has been shown at MIX NYC, Spike Berlin, the Brooklyn Film Festival, and MoCA Los Angeles and explores themes of mimicry, hauntings, masochism, and devotion. He frequently collaborates with the artist Felix Bernstein. Together, the ambiguous twosome front the band Tender Cousins, and run the art and film production company The Repeatable Theater, LLC. Their film Last Tape will debut at the Whitney Museum of American Art this fall, 2017. 
Gabe Rubin currently resides in Brooklyn, NY and works as a videographer and editor at Pioneer Works.
