The Repeatable Theater

The Repeatable Theater is a new multimedia production company created by Felix Bernstein and Gabe Rubin. Productions will include poet’s theater, books, narrative film, video art, and installation that explore the intersection of noise, camp, performance, poetry, and theory with particular attention to issues of queer identity and loss.
The company’s first project Madame de Void, will span iterations in multiple platforms and locations including a gallery installation, a black box production, a durational performance, a chapbook, and a narrative film.
A chaotic tale of love, lust, and puppies, Madame de Void parodies, collages, and re-imagines scenarios from Fassbinder, Hitchcock, Genet, Hegel, Masoch, de Sade, Charles Ludlum, Otto Dix, Carmelo Bene, and Yukio Mishima in a contemporary, queer landscape. Production design for Madame de Void is by artist George DuPont.
